Koonwarra Estate is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of South Gippsland in Victoria. This southern area of the State is known for its fertile rolling farmland, short perennial rivers, useful seasonal creeks, good quality groundwater, lush ferny rainforests, eucalypt and mountain ash groves, and luxurious sandy beaches. Most rain falls during the cooler months filling dams and water catchment areas. Koonwarra receives almost a metre of rainfall a year. Summers are drier with moderating southerly winds. Put simply, Koonwarra Estate is beautiful, fertile and productive.
